Hotel Photography

Editorial libraries for boutique hotels, inns and venues — Isle of Wight base, available worldwide

Editorial-grade hotel photography that makes your property look the way guests already imagine it — natural, considered, calm. Based on the Isle of Wight, available worldwide.

I work with boutique hotels, inns, restaurants and venues across the Isle of Wight to build complete brand image libraries — the kind that power your website, OTAs, social, brochures and ads for a full year and beyond.

Natural light. Clean colour. No over-processed HDR. Shot in a style that aligns with publications like Cereal, Condé Nast Traveller and Aman Hotels — and tuned for the way your direct-booking guests actually decide.

Three fixed-price packages. Full commercial rights. Fast turnaround. No day-rate guessing games.

Rights, in plain terms

The package price includes the licence. You can use the gallery on Airbnb, Booking.com, your own site, social, print and later marketing. You do not buy the copyright — almost no photographer sells that — but you do get the commercial use you actually need, with no extra fee later.

Shop downloads of existing landscapes are separate: £30 personal / £50 commercial. Guest-wall prints of an existing image are £50. If you only saw a frame on this website and want to use it, email first.

The Numbers

Photography that pays for itself in commission savings alone

A £150/night room at 70% occupancy generates ~£38k/year. A 15% direct-booking shift saves an average boutique hotel £5,700/year in OTA commission alone. The Brand Story package pays itself back inside one season.

How it works

01

Fit call

15-minute call. I diagnose your property and confirm which package fits — or quote a custom version on the call.

02

Pre-shoot

Brand Story and Flagship include a creative call, mood board and shot list. We align before I arrive.

03

On-site

Half day, full day or two days depending on package. Natural light, considered shot list, no rush.

04

Delivery

Edited gallery delivered in 7–14 days. Full-resolution + web-optimised. Yours forever.

Booking & Travel

How booking works

Booking retainer

A 33% non-refundable retainer confirms your shoot date. The remaining 67% is due on delivery of final edited images.

The retainer secures the date, covers prep, and is in consideration of the calendar exclusivity I block out for you.

Travel & accommodation

Available for shoots worldwide. For work outside the Isle of Wight, travel and accommodation costs are billed separately and paid up front:

  • Flights: Client pre-pays in full (booked direct, or invoiced before tickets are bought)
  • Accommodation: Client pre-pays in full — waived if you're accommodating me on-site
  • Ground transport: Ferries, taxis, fuel, parking — paid with the retainer
  • Subsistence: Included for trips up to 3 days; £40/day thereafter

International shoots

Three-stage payment is standard for international work:

  • 33% retainer + 100% travel & accommodation on signing
  • 33% mid-stage payment 14 days before travel
  • 34% balance on delivery of final images

You always know exactly what you're paying and when.

Rescheduling & cancellation

One free reschedule per booking with 14+ days notice. The retainer is non-refundable in all cases — sliding-scale charges on the balance apply for cancellations within 30 days, in line with CMA guidance under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Bad weather doesn't count as a cancellation: I'll reschedule at no charge if conditions genuinely won't deliver the work.
